What can hurt your Credit score? What should you watch out for? Yikes and the Nitty gritty we just should be aware of!!
Missed Payments Can hurt your score by 60-80 points (if credit is bad)( if credit is good 90-110)
Maxing Out A Credit Card lose points by 10 to 30 if (your credit is bad) if (credit is good 25 to 45)
Debt Settlement lose up to 45-65 points if (credit is bad)if (credit is good 140 to 160)
Foreclosure can hurt if your credit is bad( 85 to 105) if (credit is good 140 to 160)
Bankruptcy lose up to 85 to 105 points if (credit is bad) if (credit is good 140 to 160)
By knowing what can hurt your credit you can stop it in its tracks! try saving a few extra dollars from a pay, for emergency fund. So you don't need to miss that payment.
Try asking a credit card company to increase your limit as a one time courtesy (so you are not maxing it out)
Try settlement versus a Foreclosure or bankruptcy be sure to get a paid in full letter faxed to you when you make the payment.
